We’re back in Florida! We had a beautiful crossing on Friday, sailing on a reach the whole way. We left the dock in Bimini at 7:30 am and arrived to the first buoy at the entrance to Port Everglades at 1:00 pm. We fueled up on the way in, went through the 17th Street Bridge and the Los Olas Bridge, then continued to our home port. We ate well at Big Louie’s Italian Restaurant. Our crew then took care of the vessel that took such good care of us, scrubbing her stem to stern. This morning, we’ll pack up and shuttle back to our motorhome for the drive home.
