The wind today (Thursday) was really windy – 25-30 knots, gusting higher. We pulled into port this morning to make the best of it. The boat is in good order for the crossing back to Florida and everyone will have been well fed and well rested.

We spent Tuesday night and Wednesday morning on the east side of Gun Cay. Lots of fishing and some explored the lighthouse. We spent the afternoon diving the wreck of the Sapona. We left Big Game today to spend some days at anchor. Today we sailed north to the 3 Sisters reef and snorkeled there. Some of the guys tried their hand at spearing fish too. We had a brisk sail across the Gulf Stream and are now anchored at Bimini. All is well.

We had a great day on the road. We swam at Fanning Springs, ate at Canoe Creek Service Plaza on the Florida Turnpike. Went to Divers Direct and Bass Pro Shop. And killed the credit card at the grocery store. We’re up too late munching on White Castle burgers.

We had a fantastic dinner at the Cajun Corner in Marianna, Florida. Everything is homemade there and Wow was it good! We’re at our destination for the night. We have a happy crew!
