We’re all provisioned and now aboard the boat!

We made it safely to KeyLargo – a long but smooth journey. Mr. Bob and our crew are in the grocery store stocking up on provisions.

We’ve stopped at the St. Lucie/Ft. Pierce travel plaza on the Florida Turnpike. Some of us are patronizing Earl of Sandwich, “The World’s Greatest Hot Sandwich.” Others hit up Wendy’s. We’re about 3 1/2 hours from our final destination, Key Largo.

We ate breakfast while rolling. We’ve stopped for a swim at Fanning Springs.

We’re settled in for the night in Lamont, FL just east of Tallahassee. A nice drive the whole way. Our crew is well fed and ready for sleep.

We left the school after lunch. We’ve had a nice drive so far with a slowdown through Mobile. We’re now in Marianna for dinner at a Mexican restaurant. All our guys are doing great. About one more hour to go to our overnight stop in Lamont, FL.

We’re getting close now! We should leave right after 4th period lunch today. 4th period lunch ends at 12:34. Our destination today will be just east of Tallahassee.

The dates for the upcoming trip are April 17 – 27. We’ll leave right after lunch on Thursday the 17th, travel down to Key Largo on the 18th and then get underway on the 19th aboard the 48′ Leopard catamaran, Blue Moon. Click here for all the details!
