Day 4 – We are underway!
After several delays – fuel and mechanical, we are finally underway. Leaving Key Largo bound for Bimini! Conditions for the crossing are expected to be excellent. All is well!
Day 4 – Manatee
Before departing Key Largo, we saw a manatee in the harbor. Apparently they love fresh water from the hose!
Day 3 – Arrived in Key Largo
We had a great night at the Roadrunner RV Resort in Ft. Pierce. It sure was nice being only 3-4 hours away from Key Largo. We stopped at Winn Dixie as we came into Key Largo and stocked up on groceries. We are anticipating some serious eating on this trip! After that, we ran over … Continue reading

Anchored at Rodriguez Key
We left Gun Cay at daybreak and sailed across the Gulf Stream once again. Our crossing was quite pleasant with a 10 knot breeze and mild seas. We are at anchor at Rodriguez Key, just a mile or two from Port Largo. The kids have been exploring the mangroves by paddleboard here. We’ll have fresh … Continue reading
Honeymoon Harbor, Sapona, Cat Cay, Gun Cay
We spent the morning hand feeding stingrays at Honeymoon Harbor at the north end of Gun Cay. We pulled anchor around noon and headed to the wreck of the Sapona. The wind kicked up making it unsafe to snorkel the Sapona, so we ate lunch and waited there for a couple of hours for calmer … Continue reading
