William and Sam speared 3 fish while snorkeling earlier. They also caught a lobster but let it go since they’re not in season. Luke just caught a King Mackeral. We’re heading to Honeymoon Harbor at the north end of Gun Cay.

We all attended a church picnic with our Bahamian friends here in Bimini. Jerry and Diane Chapman from Ocean Springs were there as was Hugh Rolle, Hank Weech, Barbara, Bonefish Tommy, and others. Later, we went to another church festival. They had a DJ playing music and all kinds of fun games. Our guys also hung out at the beach, the pool, and the boat of course. Tomorrow we’re heading out for snorkeling on the reef at the Three Sisters and the wreck of the Sapona. We’ll be anchoring out for the rest of the trip, so the Internet may be unavailable at times.

We had a nice Gulf Stream crossing yesterday, arriving in Bimini at about 10 pm. We anchored out on the west side of the island and came in to port this morning. It was a beautiful site to wake up to this morning and it just keeps getting better. We’re all cleared in with Customs and Immigration, so our voyagers are free to explore Alice Town and Bailey Town on North Bimini. We’re moored at Big Game Club. Our fishermen are fishing full force and our motorboaters are testing out the dinghy. All is well? “Ya mon!”

We are underway from Key Largo, almost out to Molasses Light. Eating chicken sandwiches and listening to sailing music. Heading out to the Bahamas. All is well.

We made it to Key Largo, made a grocery run, and are now loading up Blue Moon, our home for the next week. Tomorrow we are Bimini bound!

We had a nice long drive to the east on I-10 today. We stopped at the Florida welcome center and again at Arby’s for dinner. We’re now at A Camper’s World just east of Tallahassee. Looking forward to a great day tomorrow. A lot more driving, but we’re all excited to get to the boat!
